Exciting new Class Change!! As of April 2008 the entire Intuitive Development Program will be taught in a more structured format at HCH: An Institute for Hypnotherapy and Psycho-Spiritual Trainings in Lafayette, California. HCH Institute is a California registered school and offers Certification programs and CEU units in Hypnotherapy, Life Coaching, Parapsychology, and Energy Healing and the intention is to offer Certification for the Intuitive program.

Introduction to Meditation • $60
Saturday, April 26, 2008 • 10 am to 1 pmMeditation is essential for spiritual awareness and clarity and is part of the foundational practice for psychic development. Most westerners have a challenging time in the early stages of meditation practice because we are so stressed, busy and generally have a well developed mental outlook. In this one module workshop we will talk a little about the theory, types, purpose and history of meditation, and practice several styles, including traditional basic breathing meditations and visual guided meditations especially designed to help clear the chakras and aura and promote groundedness and good boundaries. We will also touch on understanding the in-body and out-of-body experience, manifesting and positive thought, spirituality vs psychic skills, and helpful advice for developing a regular practice of meditation.
Introduction to Astrology • $60
Saturday, April 26, 2008 • 2:00 pm to 5:00 pmMost everyone is familiar with basic sun sign astrology, which certainly has its place in introducing the subject of the horoscope to people in an understandable way. However, it is obvious to both believers and skeptics that one twelfth of the world’s population (including animals and insects) cannot possibly be having the same experiences on a given day: “Today is a fine day for romance but beware of letters arriving unannounced and make sure you take your vitamins as your health is precarious!” In this introductory workshop you will be exposed to the basic qualities of the twelve signs, the major planets and the twelve houses and their meaning, as well as a brief discussion of aspects (the energetic connecting links between planets, transits (current movement of planets), progressions (inner development of the chart) and solar returns (the birthday year overlay). Astrology is like learning a new language and the goal of this class is to give you an overview of the system. Future workshops would go into the details and over time you will develop more comfort and understanding with the concepts. You may bring your chart or provide your birth data prior to the class so your chart will be available. The whole chart, when understood, is a miraculous and holographic roadmap of your soul’s journey. Understanding your chart and the chart of those close to you can be a true blessing.
Introduction to Psychic Skills • $120
Sunday, April 27, 2008 • 10 am to 5 pm (lunch break from 1 pm to 2 pm)Many people have experienced some level of psychic awareness, such as having dreams, visions and feelings that come true. Yet most would love to develop these skills to be able to receive accurate information when it’s really needed and to be able to trust this guidance too. This fun and informative all day workshop is to help you understand more about your natural abilities—how you specifically receive information through the chakra “antennas”—and to deepen your clarity, accuracy and trust. We will do several healing and balancing meditations throughout the day, learn about grounding, running energy and creating boundaries, connecting with your spirit guides, clairvoyance (the ability to see energy) and aura reading. Whether you are a total beginner or have practiced meditation and developed your intuitive skills, this workshop will provide an abundance of clear and grounded information. We will do several experiential exercises and practice individually and in pairs to learn the various ways one can access information and healing energies. In this one day training, you can develop a deeper understanding of how you normally use your intuition and learn skills to develop clarity and accuracy.

November 7-10, 2008The cultivation of intuition and compassion deepens our conscious experience of life and has the potential to transform our relationship with others. Clear intuition allows us to understand ourselves better, to be more understanding of other people, to have insight into the karma of situations, and guides us to our highest choices. Intuitive wisdom eases the process of surrender and trust. Compassion and empathy allow us to see others gently, allowing our words to be healing and transformative. In this four-day weekend we will explore self acceptance, compassion for others, and a grounded way of living with intuitive wisdom. This retreat center is located on original Quaker land that was then used as a retreat location for the group “Beyond War”. The redwoods spread for acres in the Santa Cruz Mountain area: quiet, peaceful, and pristine. Our lodge for the group meetings is called “Waterfall” because there is actually a real waterfall cascading through the redwood hills next to it. The cabins are perched through the hills nearby and there are two easily accessible rooms adjacent to the workshop space for anyone who would need to not walk too far.
The retreat begins on Friday, November 7th with an afternoon arrival and a group dinner at 7 pm. There will be optional candlelit yoga classes in the evenings and on the final morning, plus workshop time in the morning and afternoon with plenty of time for relaxation and connecting. Departure on Monday is after lunch.

Clear, grounded intuition and true compassion have the capacity to improve our counseling, consulting and professional skills by creating a healing, empathic bond with our clients that allows them to feel seen at a deep level. These abilities can turn an accurate astrological consultation into a deeply powerful healing experience for a client, who may then wish to continue to explore the chart’s sacred and transformative meanings. Integrating the philosophies and processes derived from psychosynthesis as well as drawing on almost twenty-five years as a clairvoyant channel and astrologer, Kay will lead the group on this four day experiential journey. The spiritual psychology of psychosynthesis offers simple guided processes for resolving the dilemmas posed by hard aspects in the chart. Often we see and discuss these inner conflicts in a session, our client knows well the issues, and yet we might wish for some tools to assist in helping the client break through and integrate these challenging aspects. And we might wish for some assistance in breaking through our own blockages and challenges as well!
Held at the Calistoga Spa Hot Springs Hotel where we can enjoy four days of Neptune’s healing gift of water: sparkling clear mineral pools including a warm soaking pool, a large Jacuzzi hot tub and a cool Olympic size swimming pool. There is also a full spa facility for massage, facials and mud baths, a second floor conference room with lovely views of the wine country hills, and spacious rooms that include two queen size beds and a kitchenette. Enjoy an exercise gym in the hotel, walking and hiking opportunities nearby, and the cute main street of the town of Calistoga a block away.
The retreat begins on Friday afternoon with conversation, pool time and dinner. On Saturday and Sunday there will be workshops in the morning and afternoon with plenty of time for relaxation and connecting around the pools plus evening candlelit yoga classes with Jeneveve Sathya of Yoga Heart. Monday morning concludes with breakfast, yoga stretch and workshop time. Check out is at noon, although we can continue to use the pools throughout the afternoon if you can arrange your travel time to accommodate more much deserved rest and pleasure time.

FRANCE: Previous retreats included the Pyrenee mountain area of Southern France. Many people said it was their best vacation ever! We stay in a lovely Bed & Breakfast in a tiny hamlet near Tarascon-sur-Ariege, approximately one hour’s drive south of Toulouse. Here, there are ancient caves literally a few minutes up the hills from the retreat setting. The caves carry a powerful earth/spirit energy and an interesting exploration into our ancient ancestors. My favorite place to stay here is Castello Montegufoni, a fifteenth century castle on top of rolling Tuscan Hills, just thirty minutes outside of Florence. Here we stay in spacious apartments that are really like private houses outside the castle, walk down the hill to a sweet town, and connect with others while we heal and deepen our connection to Spirit. This location provides a central spot from which to explore the art and culture of Florence, the artist town of Sienna, the town and church of Assisi, or simply to relax in the castle's comfortable setting. The castle has two swimming pools, a restaurant and a coffee/wine bar, and each apartment has a full kitchen.Workshop themes: Deeper levels of developing intuitive skills for daily life, healing and integrating unconscious energies, past lives in Italy, spirit releasement work, and deepening spiritually in times of change.

General information about Workshops: Workshops, retreats & classes are held in various locations from time to time and generally focus on Developing your own Intuition, Spirituality, Healing with Energy and Spiritual facets of Relationship. In particular, for many years I have taught an Intuitive Development Training program, and have trained countless people to access their own intuitive guidance and spirit guides. This program is now being structured and formalized through HCH--An Institute for Psycho-Spiritual Training in Lafayette. Many are now using their skills professionally after completing the series.
