Praise for Kay’s Workshops
“The workshop yesterday was terrific. I felt higher than a kite on my way home. The whole experience was validating and enriching. It was especially nice as our culture in general doesn’t support or value that aspect of ourselves. Nice to be some place safe to learn and share freely.”
“Surprisingly to me, the teleclass was a richer experience than going to a meeting room because I was more able to relax, focus and meditate in the comfort of my own surroundings”
“I just love being in my own home and feeling like I’m connecting with a group — without having to drive anywhere.”
Kay is in retreat planning mode.
Recently completed retreats (with co-teacher Michelle Cordero) included seven day adventures to southern Baja in May 2014 and April 2015 at Prana del Mar and a lovely Ratna Ling retreat to the redwood lands of northern California.
In past years, Kay has taken many groups to the Pyrenee mountains to see the amazing caves and enjoy the delicious food and lifestyle of rural France. Tuscany in 2007 included a week long stay in a medieval castle near Florence and day trips to Sienna and Assisi. In 2008 a group went to Costa Brava on the northeast coast of Spain near Barcelona and lounged around on the beaches and walked every morning along the sea–with just enough time for meditation and inner work. In 2009 the retreat group journeyed to the Languedoc region of France, famous for its wine, but the Lerab Ling Tibetan Buddhist traditional temple was one of the high points of the visit.
Future trips under consideration: Hawaii, Bali, France, Spain …
