Kay holds regular workshops and teleclasses designed to offer greater levels of healing, intuition, astrological awareness and consciousness. These teachings include intuitive development for all levels, evolutionary astrology and transformational healing based on psychosynthesis processwork and spiritual healing. She also lectures at major astrological conferences and to professional astrology groups.

Astrosynthesis Training

Following the free teleclass introducing Astrosynthesis, group trainings are being held via webinar. Astrosynthesis describes the integration of the soul map of the astrological chart blended with the concepts and processes of psychosynthesis. This training is ideal for professional astrologers, coaches, therapists and others who may use this in their client work, or for those who are interesting in evolving their conscious path through the lens of their personal astrology chart. Psychosynthesis is a spiritual psychology that holds we are all whole beings comprised of various parts that have developed to survive or thrive in our childhood and adult life. These parts correlate strongly to the planets in our chart. We can work with the symbolism in a dynamic, integrative way.

As we head into 2012, the inner calling for each of us to be actively engaged in our soul purpose is becoming stronger. Soul purpose is described clearly in the chart through the Moon’s nodes, the placements of Saturn and Pluto, and actually, the entire chart symbolically describes what has happened to you in prior lives and what you really need now to evolve and grow. These symbols tend to match our personal history, inner desires and wishes, and obvious challenges. We can be validated yet again through our connection with our Spirit Guides and High Self in meditative process. This workshop will help you understand how it all works, including guided process to more clearly understand where you are on your journey now. You don’t need a deep understanding of astrology to attend this workshop, just an open mind and interest.

If you have a basic understanding of metaphysics and psychic process, this intermediate/advanced group could be your next step. In this group you will deepen your psychic skills and connection to Spirit guides — developing your own style and communication skills. You might wish to develop your intuition for your own life or plan to use these skills in your career, either as a psychic practitioner or adding intuitive depth to other helping professions.
Each session will focus on a common life theme. We will talk about theme from a spiritual and karmic perspective you will then practice and deepen your clairvoyance, clairaudience, telepathy, channeling or empathic gifts and learn to trust your answers. Ethics and learning to take care of your nervous system and your body will also be highlighted. These workshops will take you to your next level through practical, individually tailored advice, demo readings and partner work. Intuitive Training Introduction Workshop (March 3rd or prior dates) or similar background or skills would be helpful. San Francisco Astrological Society (SFAS)

Kay will present her lecture: ‘Dark Truth, Sexual Abuse and Wounding in the Chart’. SFAS provides an affordable monthly forum for people to gather and hear astrological speakers from the Bay Area and around the world. You don’t have to be a professional astrologer to attend. This is definitely open to the general public and is a good way to learn astrology and meet astrologers.

State of the Art Conference (SOTA)
Dates: October 18-21, 2012
Location: Niagara Falls, New York
Kay has been invited back to speak at the SOTA conference and will be presenting the topics of “The Intuitive Astrologer” — how to integrate intuition and astrology — and “The Evolution of Karma” — understanding and integrating the karmic story in the chart through Evolutionary Astrology. This is a lovely smaller conference previously held in Toronto but now in Niagara Falls, NY, just three blocks from the falls and a beautiful park for walking. Consider attending in 2012. This year there will be a ‘Spirit’ track, offering psychic, spiritual, healing and metaphysical topics.

Retreats Abroad

In the past years, I have taken many groups to the Pyrenee mountains to see the amazing caves and enjoy the delicious food and lifestyle of rural France. Tuscany in 2007 included a week long stay in a medieval castle near Florence and day trips to Sienna and Assisi. In 2008 we went to Costa Brava on the northeast coast of Spain near Barcelona and lounged around on the beaches and walked every morning along the sea–with just enough time for meditation and inner work. In 2009 the group journeyed to the Languedoc region of France, famous for its wine, but the Lerab Ling Tibetan Buddhist traditional temple was one of the high points of our visit. Occasionally I offer local retreats to relaxing places such as Calistoga, CA.
I am still considering future trips to England, France, Crete and Spain, but am taking a break while the economy finds its way.
